Movement to slow?
Is it just me but movement in this game is to slow. I sometimes feel my grandmother could move faster. I realize movement is supposed to replicate moving as at team using heal to toe foot movement. But in real life I assume there are times you just need to run for your life. Not having a sprint feature is not realistic. I guarantee if a swat officer is caught out by themselves and don't know where fire is coming from they are going to sprint there ass off to the nearest cover. The best you can do in this game is a slow jog to the nearest cover. It's quite frustrating.

Use Low Ready keybind, you will move by 20% faster

Yeah I know that helps but compared to games like Onward you still don't move that much faster. I personally vote for a sprint function. But I want a sprint function that's realistic. Maybe based on conditioning standards for SWAT team members i.e. the average distance a conditioned swat member can sprint with full gear on. After that you can't sprint anymore, need to recover and your aim is impaired. The last thing I would want for ""Ready or Not" is to turn into the unrealistic battle chaos that games like Call of Duty, Battlefield etc have become where every one is super human sprinting full blast all over the place. But a little sprint would be nice.

Void has continually said that they have no plans for a sprint, low ready is the fastest they want players to move. They had a sprint in the old days of PVP and the NDA PVE build, they do not want that playstyle back.

I can understand that. I tried again with low ready and it's better. I guess that will have to do.

which is stupid for what is labeled as realistic swat sim, you literally have to run miles to qualify for swat training. they are trying to be rainbow six but they are not taking the better things from that game like yeah you can not sprint but there are characters that move fast enough that don't make it annoying like at least make it so that no heavy armor lets you move fast enough to get into cover and avoid gunfire or rescue people in time like actually swat does.

Realism has many aspects. While ofc running speed isnt exactly slow in real life. you would have to gamify a lot of elements to make up for it. Notice that you also have much less fear of death in a game which alone gives you an insane advantage compared to real life.

sprinting would completly change the game. They would have to rebalance so much stuff to keep it slow paced it's just not worth it

when you have 1 enemy left in the map and you have to walk again for 30 minutes because you can't find him is not a "good gameplay style". I get that you can't be in combat and sprint like a complete sugar rush kid, however making me walk for 30 minutes just to find the last dude is not something I want.
