I cannot hear my own character voice lines

I'm not sure what I did, but today when I started the game and played, I stopped being able to hear my own character say stuff like "get on the ground" and all that. I can hear my teammates say "get on the ground" and stuff like that, just not my own character. Any fix for this?

Just to be clear, I am not talking about VOIP, I am talking about the actual voice lines that everyone's playable character says.

where do I go to reselect it? I didnt even know you could deselect a character

That's an odd issue. I'm not aware of what might turn it off in the game.
Try checking the game files' integrity?
