Cannot install the update

I couldn't unpack the downloaded files, the installation got stuck at 3% and the estimeted times was about 1 year and not changing after about a hour. Now I can't verify the files, I can't uninstall the game, I even deleted entire folder and still I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ uninstall, redownload or verify the game files. What the ♥♥♥♥???

Delete the game and re-install it. Sucks for people with slow downloads, but that's what I had to do and it was instantly ready when I finished downloading it again.

I see that you didn't read my post. I CAN'T UNINSTALL THE GAME, it's stuck at installing, when trying delete the game I always get error, even tho that the game files no longer exist cuz I removed entire folder with the game

Yeah me neither but what I did what remove a main oak file and then validated my game files. That seems to have done it.

That's all that was required to fix my Steam downloads. Totally forgot that Steam needs to have its innards deloused on a regular basis.
