NVIDIA DLSS
okay, VOID, i guess it's a bug but i somehow enabled DLSS on my GTX 1650 and the game is somehow running a loooot smoother than with FSR2. If that's a bug, i beg you, don't fix it even though my gpu may explode

What are the GPU specifications? There are some GTX cards with a TU106 chip with tensor cores. Here's one: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1650-tu106.c3585

I don't think mine has this. No other video game allows me to use DLSS, i guess it's just a bug for now. My friends with an rx470 was able to turn it on as well

Ah ok then, that's funny considering that DLSS is accelerated with tensor cores. So something else must be happening here.

It's possible that their screen is being scaled down and back up with some sort of fallback, like TAA upscaling. I know in Unity if DLSS isn't available but you enable dynamic resolutions, it can fall back to other methods. Possible in Unreal the same thing can occur?

Yeah, makes a lot of sense. Could also just be a GUI glitch whereas DLSS is not running but instead using something else.

that's highly possible but i have no idea what else it can run. FSR 2 works bad for me for some reason (works fine in other games). Maybe it's an intel thing? Forgot how it's called

XeSS? Maybe if it's supported, but I doubt it. It's more likely that it's running UE4's Temporal upscaler here. Is there any difference in the AA stability between the two? If it's a GUI bug then who knows, I mean it could still be running FSR on DLSS, but the normal FSR setting is a different version that's unstable on the system, or perhaps just broken.

i usually test my fps on a "lethal obsession" map, with FSR 2 on balance i get about 50 fps which is playable, but hurts a bit with a 165hz monitor, with this "DLSS" its 80-100 for me which is pretty fine in my opinion. As i said earlier i don't know what is this and how it works but i hope it stays
