READY TO UNINSTALL................OR NOT??? :)
I bought this game a few days back, because it looks good and was available for a decent discount price :steamhappy: I had no idea at the time that it was close to the 1.0 release - and was wondering if it might be worth uninstalling the Early Access version, and installing the 1.0 from scratch? I'm guessing that it's probably fine to simply update the game without uninstalling, as it's always worked with other games - just wanted to know what others are doing? :steamhappy:

My opinion is uninstall and install 1.0. There is just too much that is being deleted, overwritten, or added.
I typically uninstall (including wiping the files in the hidden directory). Then manually delete the hidded files (below). I tend to have less problems this way.
Game directory C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ReadyorNot
Hidden config files C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\ReadyOrNot

what would the point in uninstalling to then reinstall? The update will replace any and all files that it needs to in order to update the game. Any issues after that can be sorted with a file verification.

Yes with UE4 games its faster to uninstall and then install again.

it will replace but since the size is also being truncated from 90gb to 60gb it might be a good idea to do a clean install
