Ready or Not / VOID are about to do something we don't see often in gaming anymore...

going from a bare bones early access title, to a bare bones early access title that had mainstream hype, to a properly released game is so rare now a days i feel like. too many times we've seen games get crazy crowdfunding support with the promise of an experience and features like no other, yet developers fail to deliver or let the ego and money get to their head.

not VOID, ready or not is one of the first games in a long while I've seen that had positive early access impressions, and after (8?) long years can finally call itself a full fledged video game. no doubt the release will be successful... im excited to buy this game in a couple hours once the release happens.

You are correct. Seldom happens these days. Deep Rock Galactic also did it. It's so much fun getting an Early Access game and experience the updates and improvements all leading to a full release game. Most of the time they die in early Access.
