It is finished in the sense that it is 1.0, stuff like maps, cosmetics, etc., are all present that were not in early access and were planned. It is not finished in the sense that the game isn't planned to receive additional work, including patches, content updates, PVP, etc.

The game still plays like EA with noticeably worse suspect AI, and less content. So that's why I ask.

RON is nowhere close to SWAT4 level currently, i do also hope SWAT4 will be brought to steam one day.

I'd say we are about 50% there.

1.0 is basically 1 step forward 2 steps back. which means in about a year we will 40% done.

I bought it recently ans enjoy it a lot. Defintely not unfinised game, but updates will continue to come I reckon.

How is it a game so old and janky still plays better than any other SWAT game, I still remember a suspect hiding under a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sink in a cupboard once in SWAT 3

There are some bugs that need ironing out, but it is finished and is a great game.

FAR from finished. It's entertaining, but a buggy mess with AI-generated texts, assets, and subtitles (wtf? You can't be serious). Definitely not a "1.0" release and it shows some big problems with the industry, even for smaller studios such as this. I'm still playing it, but that's not an excuse.
