warning mods will permanently mod the game
If you install modes and wanna remove them to not have a "modded version" you need basically redownload the whole game, so be careful !
Because that can take a long ass time, they really need to change that or make a disclaimer that its permanent

You do not have to reinstall the game, you just have to manually remove the mod folder.

yes and that will ♥♥♥♥ up your game then you need to check game integrity cache and that will have to do something quick which unfortunately means it will have to redawnload the game!

thats the problem you need to do it manually which is never a good choice

No, you literally just have to remove the modio folder. If you are deleting anything other than that, or the %localappdata% readyornot folder, you are deleting core game files that you do not need to touch.

It is as simple as deleting the modio folder, or excess files, in steamapps\common\ready or not\readyornot\content\paks. Do not touch the windowsnoeditor 0-20 files.

also after removing any files you can verify the game cache to replace any files removed by mistake

No this is correct my guy, either go into the paks folder and delete mod.io (if that's what you are using) or the paks you installs from an outside source.

When done right, modded on the top right will disappear

No. Just install mods manually by pasting pak files in pak folders. When not needed delete the paks. That simple.

You can also start in safe mode in the settings... this is how I got it to fix

Safe Mode works just fine also.
But some folks would rather yell than RTFM.

Over, and over, and over. Not to mention unsubscribe from all mods at modIO. And clearing mods from within the game.

the fact that there is no way to post on the community hub makes me support abortions now.

just played Brisa Cove, died instantly because of a bomb trap on the first door. i checked for a string. i peeked the door, looked with my eyes at the spot where the string would be and saw it not so entered fully and exploded. i cant believe this made it into release, and the CIVS are still the most broken part of it. SWAT AI is atrocious, suspect AI is inconsistent, and CIVILIAN AI is the worst most broken system ive ever seen in any game. how often does the game become boring from very intensely exciting and then frustrating looking around for some schmuck for 45 minutes and still not being able to find them even though you checked literally every square inch of traversable floor space and every bed and closet at least 4 times.
oh the only thing worse than the CIV AI is the SOUND DESIGN. it is literally impossible to determine location by voice. there is no directionality whatsoever, in fact it's worse because it's deceptive and people above you sound like they are next to you. the sound design fools you and i wonder if they did it intentionally considering their post about how much improved it is. its like gaslighting someone so they don't realize your foolishness or the Emperor's New Clothes syndrome.
