Nonlethal question
When you incapacitate a suspect with a gun and they don't die, does it still count towards a live capture? I'm not talking about them surrendering, I mean when the game claims they are either unconscious or otherwise still breathing while they're on the floor from gunfire.

You use to be able to get S-Rank doing that but they removed a really nice feature from the game with the 1.0 release. It wasn't easy to pull off either so i'm not sure why they removed getting S-Rank that way.

No. What i read on other discussions here.
If you arrest suspect alive you will get 50 points.
If you arrest suspect incapacitated or dead you will get 5 points.

For S-rank you have to arrest everyone alive.
I think it's only 35 points, but otherwise yeah, you are right.

If you wound a suspect with a firearm yet you're able to get them to put their hands up it's 25 points

If you get them to surrender by non-lethal means that's 35 points

You only get 5 points if you shoot a suspect and they go down like they're dead but they're breathing because they're in critical condition and could die on the scene or on the way to hospital. If you don't get 5 points that suspect was pretending to be dead and will soon be sitting back up

No guys...

Guys it's simple: If they surrender, and get cuffed, 35 points.

If they go down for real (not faking death), 5 points.

The only other consideration is that you can incapacitate (and not kill) targets you need to arrest and still complete that Obj. It will still only give you 5 points though.

incorrect, if you harm them with lethal weaponry and are injured, you get 25 for restraining suspect, if they are dead or in critical condition you will get 5 for reporting suspect, and if they willingly surrender or hit few times with beanbag or peperspray gun you will get 35 for arresting suspect. NOTE TO BE MADE, if you overuse peperball or beanbag it will start to deduct score either through giving 25 points instead of 35 or by using unauthorised force (-25 or-50 point deduction depending on what state suspect was in) and you can still kill suspects with beanbags VERY EASILY which will only give you 5 for restraining suspect.

This isn't a thing. I knew it wasn't a thing, and just confirmed it. Shot a suspect right in the chest, made him surrender, 35 points.

twisted fate, cracked as ♥♥♥♥ woman, shot in arm with my pistol, 25 points, then found another cracked as ♥♥♥♥ guy in cave used cs grenade and flash on him and gave me 35. So unless each mission gives random ammount of points between 25 and 35 it does matter if you lethal or less lethal them

It's very simple and it's exactly as I explained it. I could link the video I just did if you want?
