"We'll do it live" 1.0 "launch"
Poorly optimized, and it seems they cost themselves time redoing a bunch of stuff.
Some features are in a poor state. What are you guys doing to get more fps?

Try running Low graphic settings, the game still looks really really really good and it helped me get 90-140 on 3070ti

It could also just be a bad shadow cache. It's a known issue with the engine in general
I use medium with FSR set to balance. My 1660Ti has been chugging a bit trying to run the game at 3440x1440. But I think you can also try a lower setting without FSR, but I don't mind how the game looks.

I have a 3080 and I cant get stable fps no matter what I try. DLSS on or off it doesnt matter. It's not that I can't get good fps, it just fluctuates like crazy sometimes.

thats odd I got a oh nm you have a 3080. i own a 3080 ti. I am using 4k with epic all and dlss to quality and I don't have frame issues.

Yes I cap it at 72 fps, but there are some maps where fps goes down wildly in some sections.
Also, even at 72 it feels sluggish somehow?

I deleted shader cache on gpu, deleted config file for the game, made sure it is starting on dx12, redid all my settings, it feels smoother now.

You should check your task manager for what is bottleneck in your game performance. High chance it's CPU. Currently UE is a single CPU thread engine. So, the better your single CPU core is, the better it will run the game

does -USEALLAVAILABLECORES work?

60 FPS with a 1080Ti on 1440p. Unreal Engine game are known to be low in FPS ... the engine is pretty crappy on that side of things.
