Do you have a tip what AI Mod is necessary? We really struggle with the AI at the moment. Peace is never an option for them it seems :D

I am not sure I have been playing ground branch for hours exploring the maps city looks really amazing. Some of the maps are not as polished looking as RoN but some of them are. I wouldn't recommend you buy GB if you want a finished game though.
You mean the year gap where it really was broke AF with no content, then the entire layout of the game changed, added content, mildy polished, then released it and a hotfix patch a week later, just before the holidays.

Speaking of which the steam refund is broken. If a game completely changes from EA to release then it's not the product you paid for and should be allowed a refund. In any other industry but gaming this is not allowed.
