GB is redoing their AI and having the EA test their game and give feedback that they actually listen to and adjust. The Ai aren't amazing yet, but they are still a challenge and giving me the experience I expect from a tactical game where if I don't pay attention to my surroundings I will end up shot and dead.

Ready of Not is full of bugs, graphical, and gameplay, and the most broken AI ever, which granted is fixed by AI mods, but it should not be required to enjoy the game released as a 1.0 and removed from EA.

If you seriously defend this game or company after what they did as others have said your nothing but a shill with no backbone.

Is this game fun? Yes but it required 3rd party mods to fix the AI, Which is inexcusable!

Do you have a tip what AI Mod is necessary? We really struggle with the AI at the moment. Peace is never an option for them it seems :D

Ground Branch has been in early access for years and still just recently got something notable to play with aside from PvP. Ground Branch just didn’t say version 1.0 after they implemented AI. I think RoN is still making more progress than GB if you look at the TimeFrames. That still does not let Void of clean though because before 1.0 they had a very controversial and unethical upbringing. I knew about this game when all they had was a website with a few pictures and just now bought it. I refunded Ground Branch the day it was released and I still don’t see any reason to purchase it yet.

Honestly? Aside from the AI being overpowered on certain maps, I've had no issues. Some animations seem to get click locked (for lack of a better description) for a moment - most notably when throwing utility - but this only happens occasionally. Otherwise, all good here and really enjoying the game.

I never had an issue with mods affecting achievements they just don't allow you to submit your high score to leader board but lol is there even one we can see?

There is a video of someone showing everything broken in 1.0 its good for a laugh.

I am not sure I have been playing ground branch for hours exploring the maps city looks really amazing. Some of the maps are not as polished looking as RoN but some of them are. I wouldn't recommend you buy GB if you want a finished game though.

I was tempted to go for getting GB earlier when I watched a recent play through on you tube. They’ve come a long way since 2018 but I stopped because there’s no team AI or single player campaign yet. Or something close to it at least. That’s the reason I finally broke down and got RoN.

See the scary thing about that is,

There was about a year gap in between the last updates. (Not including the hotfix that honestly probably wouldn't have been released yet if not for the "Use hosts customization loadout" glitch - Something that blatantly broken can't be ignored).

You mean the year gap where it really was broke AF with no content, then the entire layout of the game changed, added content, mildy polished, then released it and a hotfix patch a week later, just before the holidays.

I just S'd Greased Palms. You know I cleared the warehouse? My AI did all of it. I just threw flash grenades ahead of them as they cleared....they work...sometimes. The game isnt broke like people claim.

I'm having a blast with this game, sure it does have it's issues like most games out there no doubt. But some of the negative buzz seems a bit over the top. Yeah, the AI team is not always on par, but what modern tactical shooter does it better? I get problems with games can get frustrating, but at least put it in some perspective.

the sad thing is if you use ai mods the game becomes night and day lol. It just seems wrong how you need a 3rd party mod to fix the core gameplay. It's what my solution was to enjoy the game since I am way past a refund.

Speaking of which the steam refund is broken. If a game completely changes from EA to release then it's not the product you paid for and should be allowed a refund. In any other industry but gaming this is not allowed.
