Sins of the Father
huge props to the devs! cant remember the last time I played a map with such great ambience and visuals.

they nailed that one. the rainstorm, the classic decor, creepy background noise, you even hear the rain hit the windows in slow moments. just a great map all around!

Yeah, it was my favorite map in the game.

I got The Shining vibes playing it, the past coming back to haunt the world today in a creepy hotel.
jea the map is nice but would be better if it would not rain inside

Let me join you. I also love this map. 10/10 for the atmosphere, also very good to train CQB.

Yeah, going in I had the same vibe. Like entering some manor with a bad omen.

I'm so sad that we can't command or play as sniper role on this map. If so, it's gonna be a banger.

The baddest map in the game. The worst thing is glass through which you can’t see anything, but the enemy AI sees you. "Rust belt" tunnels are wider than corridors in this hotel.

awful map, maze like and the worst suspects in the game imo, too many fking doors.

Interesting level. I enjoy replaying it. Would have been the perfect level for taking out the lights.

It does get a little confusing since some rooms inexplicably have like 3 separate doors leading into them. Overall though I love the map because a.) it's just the right size--large enough to feel like a "big deal" without being overbearing like the hospital, b.) it has awesome decor and just a great overall atmosphere, c.) it has few, if any major "problem" areas where you can be unfairly killed from really long distances or through lots of clutter, d.) it has the most entry points of them all, giving you a plethora of ways to kick things off.

it pales in comparison to the pre 1.0 hotel map man. why they just straight up dropped wenderly hills is completely beyond me. all that work they put into making it just to get rid of it for no reason. same with original versions of port hokan and the car dealership, and cherryessa farms. so dumb.

Same goes for the other game modes, I recon they decided to flesh them out a little better and sell as DLC at a later date. Rather scummy considering the early access and stuff though.

I mean if thats true I'm just not gonna play anymore and won't buy anything they come out with in the future. I hope that doesn't end up being what happens man
im getting angry with these mfers all waltzing into the hallway right at the beginning and only the one in front surrenders, while the guy behind him starts shooting
