Hosting Public Lobby
Pre 1.0 i can host and randoms will fill up the lobby pretty quick. Now on 1.0, random cant seem to be able to join my lobby, but I'm able to join other's public lobby (high ping latency lobbies).

Some FYI , Im not using any mods, server side checksum is turned off.
Anyone got a similar experience with this, any fixes?

Nope, I still get lobby filled with randoms in minutes.
Can't suggest anything, I think it is related to your internet connection.

i'd make sure your ports are fowarded for the game and check any firewalls/antivirus software you have

Honestly the game feels way less polished now then it did pre 1.0 imo

You said you join lobbies with a high ping, might it be related to your region?
Did you try to play with your friends, do they have any ping problems when play on your server?

Also I suggest to get the "In Game Menu" mod:

There is a server browser where you can find a low latency server.
If you don't have any there, that's weird.

I have friends in other countries and this peer-to-peer crap will auto-kick people with high ping. There is no way around it, it will look for people geographically near you.

Even with low latency people, my server gets full but less than a third of people make it into the missions: people are dropping like flies with crashes and the result is usually "connection to the host has been lost".

It is broken and the lack of dedicated servers makes it worse.
