2: Greased Palms, similar problems, but has more choices on how to approach it, as well as weaker suspects. However has way more pixel peeks at long distances
3: Carriers of the vine, a map that is a bit too big for its own good with quite a lot of long range engagements with full auto high mag cap enemies yet again.
These three are probably the real hard ones.
Ides is actually rather easy if you just control the situation and lock of enemy approaches
Valley of the Dolls is a similar story
I will never forget how miserable the whole situation made me feel lmao
1: Relapse. Even though i have a very well studied route now, the jacked AI combined with the high caliber automatic weapons make it just unforgiving. Add in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ peeking through the glass corridors and you find yourself dead just when you show your head
2: Neon tomb. Same as before. Jacked AI, high caliber automatic rifles. Even worse is that my perception is severely handicapped with all the lights flashing and the loud music not allowing me to detect threats. I'd argue this one is worse than relapse but i have personal hatred for that mission.
3: The Hotel. Close espaces with roaming strong enemies... A lot of opposite doors forcing you to choose and a layout that i can't quite picture. Besides i hate the style of decoration they chose lmao.
Ides of March. Is not "hard" when you know what you are doing. Trouble is, this is the baptism by fire of RoN. Traps on the doors, assailants with somewhat good aim, powerful weapons and a map that interconnects allowing flanks for the already aggressive AI.
Honorable mention would be Rust Belt for me. It's not brutal or difficult per se but the tunnel ♥♥♥♥ really gets on my nerves. Besides i have a horrible time trying to orientate myself indoors so i feel like im on a dark labrynth in which the next door i open can lead to a firing squad.
Second difficult would be the spider for me.
Huge room in the middle with two narrow corridors at a straight angle and no entrance with good visibility. it would be manageable, but it has too many door which are usually open straight from the beginning, so it's hard to block it quickly enough to deal with it last.
Ideas of March are kind of baptism by fire, but it felt like a question I need to find answers for, not just sucker punch. Right now I had fun re-running it with specialist officers for s rank, unlike the spider.
2. Feminist Farm, Again, SWAT AI is pretty worthless in the wide open spaces, suspects tend to run around the map so it takes forever to find them, lots of unfair vantage points that only the player can respond to
3. Idea of March, the traps are hard to see on some doors and the mechanic for disabling them is too clunky, suspects really like to wallbang on this map for some reason. I wouldn't call this mission hard tho, just annoying.
