Do you see any traps?

How can I command the team to check for traps? And how can I see them? I'm playing Ides of March and the bigger problem than enemy AI are the traps. I'm peaking through the door and don't see any wire, then I open them and boom I'm dead.
Anyone else have the same issue?

If they have a wand you can tell the AI to use it and they will spot the bomb.

tell them to mirror the door, then an option to disarm the trap, if there is one, will show up then breach the door

Mirrorgun is the easiest, even bots can use it and they'll call if there's a trap and give you the ability to order a disarm. You can also peek the door if unlocked, and check if there's a wire poking out and bending. You can disarm by aiming at the wire and using the multitool.

Don't have your team near the door and use a breaching Shotgun to set off the trap remotely

But if you wanna breach a room the first option is better
