Weapon manipulation speed makes COD look slow.
checking ammo, reloading a mag, and all other actions make it seem like the officer is a robot training for the olympics. Way too fast, all of it. Makes CoD seem slow.

You ever tried to reload a gun? It’s not that hard. And btw it’s not so fast.

lmao you ever practiced reloads? A person can get very good at it with a bit of practice. It's not out of the ordinary for a SWAT officer (who may or may not be a prior service member) to be near perfect with reloads.

I think it's important to remember context. Your character isn't going to be doing slow, casual reloads like he's relaxing at the gun range most of the time.

exactly this. SWAT are professionally trained. CoD is all about balancing, some reloads take unnaturally long time for no reason except to balance the weapon, in this game balancing isn't priority, shoot shoot bullet bullet gun pow pow zip bap pow pow.
Nobody would want to play a game where your character's slow reload can get you killed.

Exactly, games that have guns with slow reloads often clearly don't know what to animate in the spare time of the long animation, because realistically there would be no spare time, the reload would already be done. That forces the end result to be something like an awkwardly long away time for the first-person character's off-hand that makes it look like they're scratching their balls for a few seconds before actually starting to reload. I agree that hyper-fast reload animations look silly as well but slower does not automatically equal more realistic.

I'm here thinking RoN is slow and COD is faster

You are wrong.

PS: devs motion captured anims. These are real people perfoming these reloads.

Tell me you never trained with guns without telling me.

One of the biggest benefits to the AR platform is how fast you can reload;
Hit mag release
Flick wrist
Mag goes in

It really doesn't take that much practice, same with the AK pattern.

Remember to release that bolt.
