Sure. But by that metric, not too many US SWAT teams out in LA clamoring to use a 357 revolver at this point either.
Much has changed about the game, including content showcased in the past. A lot of maps that were around during the trailer you likely saw are not there anymore, including models, suspects, etc.
In exchange, they've given way more guns and a lot more maps than what was originally planned. The point being, things change, and one gun does not make a big difference.
For *you*.
I, for another, bought the game on the promise of what was shown in the reveal. One of those things being an accurately modeled, animated, and accurate ballistics modeled M14. A weapon that in many modern games gets glossed over and forgotten about. So when you're using that imagery to sell your game initially, it can be reasonably expected to be there at full release.

As I said above. It's important that we read all messages.
Not saying it's nessesariely the right thing to do, but sometimes the nessesary thing to do for whatever reason the respective dev teams might have, and we as players have no other option than accept it, or move on, as much as it sucks at times.
And you don't advert weapons on your original webpage that you don't intend to sell.
As such. I'll not be accepting nor moving on. Any time an update is posted, expect a post asking about the weapon. Much like anytime PlanetSide2 gets updated, I'm on their forum asking about the promised console release of H1Z1's survival mode.
