On the latest Hotfix people were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about "No AI Fixes" even when I pointed out the literal changelog which listed several AI Fixes copy and pasted lol
So can you answer the original question of the topic please? Or are you gonna delete more comments not relevant to the question and not really assist me in figuring it out?
thank you!
Im not saying this to be a hater, I love the game and its Idea and have been playing long before this update. But the quality of this version is in all honestly terrible. Im honestly amazed there are people here that will try to force themselves to think otherwise. The X-Raying ai that seem to have aimbot no matter what, and performance issues the game suffers from are objectively awful for a Official Release, especially when its priced at 50 Bucks
And in my personal experience with the hotfix, it did help a little, but not enough to make it worth 50 dollars
so as it stands right now, what price do you think the game is worth currently?
Everything else is skill issue or bugs that are going to be fixed.
But hey, if you still want to buy it now, feel free to do so, I cant stop you
it's almost full price on there :/ i've looked so many times lol
Suspect AI is absolutely undercooked. People who think it's a difficulty issue are missing the point. There's little dynamics to their behaviour and every suspect has one mode: suicidal maniac. The difference between RoN's and SWAT 4's suspects is night and day. In SWAT 4 they'll often hesitate, retreat, and surrender if they know they're at a disadvantage.
There's just a general lack of polish in other areas too. Gloves still clip with certain pistol models, weapons in the same category having vastly different recoil, the size of certain props (such as some of the items in Gas), continuity errors with story elements, the use of AI art, poorly thought out objectives when it comes to capturing suspects on certain levels, etc. EDIT: Let's also not forget they removed selectable modes such as Raid and Bomb Threat, which dwarfed content immensely.
I do think all of this can be fixed. I'd say wait for 2-3 patches and hopefully RoN can be a game I give a recommend to.
Btw you can safely ignore the 'skill issue' trolls, suspect AI has been proven to be bugged at the moment by multiple people and the trolls are doing it for attention. Also expect the devs not to fix it for a year or so going by past experience
just got it man thank you lol
the game has it pros and cons but a buddy of mine told me to get it and I love playing it and its even better with friends. Solo it can be kinda meh but it really comes down to what you want out of a shooter. but content wise and gameplay wise.. yes it is worth the money
