Commander mode is ALT+F4 simulator :)
simply click on practice and you will spawn in the station as you normally would without any of the team and stress management stuff
In what way? Post your reasoning and how 1.0 is as far a step back as you say.
Edit: Exactly, you can't say why and know you're wrong so you just jester and hide. Embarassing.
Police Station is awesome ! I love it. It is made for those who like easter eggs and little detail about the lore who change when you complete a mission. For the others, just need to make you spawn in the main room.
They reworked ton of maps. They are better now.
And the swat AI features are .... Brrrrr... Love it.
The game have issues. But not a reason to hate it and see it as a downgrade.
It baffles me how odd this design decision is. These games are a die & retry by design, why on earth would you put a lobby between each try. In Ironman, sure, it makes sens, but in the regular run?
When the fastest way to retry is to alt+f4 that’s a freakin flaw at best.
And don’t gimme the realism argument, it is not much more realistic to have the teamlead respawn in the district to go in the same intervention again but with its team somehow more shaken.
I mean, whod like to have to load a lobby in games like dark souls or binding of isaac every time you die... and then choosing your level then wait ten sec then a loading time, thats ludicrous.
I don't understand why anybody thinks this is a good idea. I have been playing ready or not 1.0 now for 15hrs and haven't even walked around everywhere in the police station because I don't care. I want maps with multiple ways to attack them, settings to change behaviour and amount of enemies and civilians etc? I want this game to be more sandboxy like swat 4.
Exactly this. You nail it. Also, with the amount of bugs currently it feels to me as if Void themselves haven't playtested 1.0 one bit. It's as if nobody in that studio plays games themselves. So weird.
