Are the subtitles auto generated?

What's the point of subtitles that don't tell you what's actually been said?

Edit:
Judging by how subtitles for the arrest commands have different variations of the word (like "arrest/restrain them"), they are likely manually created. So i assume the reason some of them don't match the sound are because there were problems with communication between whoever made the sounds and whoever made the subtitles. Still weird that nobody checked if they matched the context.

Yeah some of the subtitles are just...weird, and I don't understand (if they're manually created) how they could get it wrong? I understand need for varying lines for similar situations, but misspellings are rampant

Whoever worked on the subtitles:

- Might not speak English as their primary language.

- May have been given the audio clips without the accompanying script in English for some reason.

That's all I can think of because there's some REALLY weird subtitles. The subtitle for telling the AI to deploy a door jam sometimes being "George M, go!" is hilarious. Like I can't even be mad about it 'cause that's funny as heck. I hope George M gets referenced in later content.

Yeah, the subtitles are definitely done using an AI text transcription system. There's way too many errors that are homonym-esque for it to be anything else.

yep. usually it runs well but sometimes you got jankiness. Often times it's the chemlight. Chemlight out for me sometimes turned into kim light out, kimmy out, and ken light out.
