After checking, I'm still seeing demo files written to the directory, so as an alternative step..
If you want to ensure the folder isn't written to, You can right click the demos folder and go to Properties, go to the security tab, click system, then disable write access by checking the box under "deny" for write access, Do the same for the other users ( your name + administrators ) and it should lock out RON from writing those files into that directory.
The first method was untested ( until just recently where I tried it myself ) and I'm about to test that alternative method which *should* work.
Be aware however that if you want to re-enable them, you'll need to repeat the process but uncheck the box and apply for each of the "users", Your name + SYSTEM + Your name ( Administrators )
At least you can save your space on C drive now, You'll just need to undo the changes if you want to re-enable replays.
Dev's originally said it would have workshop, but they are widely known as liars at this point i would hope.
Now, yes they do install on the C drive... But the mods for that game are small. I have 18 subscribed and that's like 228MB. So while I don't like it, I can bear it. Also cause the game procedurally generates maps so you don't actually need big map mods.
