If he's anywhere else, chances are the AI will notice him before you do and kill him.
SWAT instantly headshots the FISA agent across the warehouse because he's armed and hostile, and the mission fails. Brisa Cove was a tough challenge, but I don't even feel like trying on Greased Palms.
Edit: Luckily, occasionally the suspect gets shot by SWAT AI and goes down but is considered incapacitated but not dead, so there is hope.
And there are usually 2 or 3 AIs accompanying him.
So clear that area first, I never had AI killed him, he has just a pistol so you can keep shooting his legs or torso so he is unconscious then tie him up. If you keep your distance, he is barely able to deliver any damage to you.
Or you can use flashes, gas to make him and other armed guards surrender and get close.
I don't understand you, people, you never try anything, no new approach, do not wedge doors, different areas, flashes, gas nades etc you just cry on the forums.
I have repeated this mission like 7 times already because I wanted to get A at least, and if one approach didn't work, I tried different one with different path and eventually I managed to get A and got all the objectives.
The game is hard, if you want to complete all the objectives and not fail, you need to think and reconsider your approach.
On these HVT capture missions you either have to cheese it or hope you get lucky and the HVT surrenders from a flashbang before the SWAT AI goes ham on them.
For this map specifically, it's very difficult to capture the HVT due to the AI having unrealistic sightlines in the warehouse/conveyor belt area and just shooting through tiny gaps.
Why would you say this when it's patently false? He can spawn in the main processing area, in a side office, and he's even spawned upstairs on the catwalk.
30+ tries, always at the same spot. Statistically implausible.
6 tries and he's spawned only on the catwalk, office, packaging area for me.
Stop making stuff up
* It is fair to say that it is quite possible to complete the mission, but not above grade B
so the best way i find of doing it is clearing the front area first then locking the warehouse doors and clearing the outside of the entire map withough getting infront of the loading bays (just kill whoever is outside and turn back) and then clear the other small building at the other end of the map
then send in your team to the back door next to that small building and as soon as they kill whoever is infront of them call them back out and lock the door
go back trough to the front door into the warehouse and breach from 2 doors at the same time
then work with one team at a time and send them to move ahead and clear everything
if you can manage to push both teams from different sides it helps a ton because if one of your teammates gets stuck in a AI blindspot where they just go stupid and cant shoot back at whoever is shooting at them the other team might be able to save the cop with the broken AI
