Yeah I am not too sure. This has been the only game I've been excited for. This 1.0 is like half baked. This is def. not a 1.0 release. It is still EA imo.
Their biggest problem is AI. In a game like this that is extremely important. Idc about skins , camos etc. Save that ♥♥♥♥ for later. Make the foundation of the game fun.
Then you get these new people " WhERe IS MulTIPLAyER ?!? "
still do it when switched ?
It is demonstrably proven that the AI is broken in multiple ways and the developers themselves recognize this feedback and are addressing it.
"Skill issue" doesn't really work when the feature is fundamentally broken.
Hm.. I may try it vanilla and see because it is happening a lot to me . Very annoying.
Yeah, the early access period really felt like the alpha period. What they call "1.0" is definitely the start of the early access period as there are a lot issues to address. On the top of the aforementioned AI problems, there are other things like the riot shield having awful reflections that make it near-impossible to see through.
I noticed that when I bump into element members, my laser appears horizontally across the screen (if I have the shield in hand).
I think they fixed squad AI , added a pointless HQ, and gave a bunch of cosmetics. Made a cool trailer . Called it 1.0
The devs CLEARLY did not test their game. That or they blatantly don't give a crap. Which is even worse.
I think it is a combination of both, to be honest.
You are not wrong for thinking so lol
It really sucks because I remember seeing this game for the first time in 2019 and thinking, "Wow, this game looks like what I wanted out of Rainbow Six Siege." I had no major issues with that game at release, but it gradually got worse with the addition of unrealistic operators and scummy tactics used by players online (you would spawn in and just instantly die sometimes); I completely avoid PvP games these days.
I just hope that Six Days in Fallujah turns out better than this game, as I was recently paying some attention to it, but Ready or Not's early access phase and release have made me really sceptical. One good thing going for that game is that Halo CE's designer is working on it.
Now we need realistic maps where swat is called on you know, actual swat calls, not 6 days in fallujah.
