then it must have an AOE of like 2 feet and no spreading lol
Don't go in until you don't start to hear someone is coughing
Pros:
Good for longer stun effect on suspects.
Cons:
Limited range of area.
Takes more time to spread the gas, in comparison to the flash nade which is almost instant.
Also AI have different reaction values according to the AllLevelData.ini file
It reacts or it is monitoring in general these things:
1 Sounds
2 Flashlights
3 Basically scans a door if it is close/open
4 Suspect can switch from idle status (lowered weapon) to alerted status (raised weapon, which decreases the time to fire.
5 Many more environmental elements gets involve to it that we as players don't catch.
You can review every playthrough by using the replay option in the main screen. You'll see what I am talking about these values.
Which is absurd considering how the use of it indoors renders a large AoF where it can remain persistent for quite awhile. They're changing so many aspects to the game that are not only detrimental but highly unrealistic.
I am very familiar with how CS gas works. This game is as far from realistic as possible. Not only does it disperse into the air quickly. it sticks to everything. indoors ? forget about it. you are going down unless you got a mask.
Knowing how the AI behavior works and flaws (also bit of map knowledge) been getting A+ and S barricated. Full less lethal.
As an example, suspects are not permanently in alerted status. They switch back and forth from idle to alerted, it coolsdown after a while and goes back to idle status like any other regular stealth game.
There is a BIG difference between this stance #1 (alerted)

And this stance #2:

Many players decides to engage to suspect #1 instead of #2, which is likely to go downhill from there.
I don't know if you use the Optiwand, which is very important in any scenario. not only works for doors, but it is useful to use at any corner.
Suspects can't see the optiwand at any angle...
But if you peek with your head they will see you instantly (if it is facing towards you).
Yes, that is one of the parameters. There is a chance of the suspect to (not affected by the gas):
flee to another room.
start shooting at the door
aim only or hide.
Gas Chamber qual?
OP ? it is not even remotely effective as it should be. CS gas in an enclosed room is supposed to be OP my guy. That is the entire point of it.
Edit: Don't even get me started of bangers. They are even worse. Throwing one into a room should have enemies completely disoriented and confused. its like 50/50 if it even phases them .
