Question about armor.
I'm in total ignorance of real body armor.
I know what front and back plates mean but..

What is "full"? i though front and back together was the full kit.

What does "full" add to front and back?

Also what's the actual -in game- difference between steel and ceramic?

Thanks!

Front/Back is exactly has it is listed. Full is Front/Back, and both side coverage. In the early access side side coverage is only usable while wearing the heavy armor. We can equip the side plates while wearing light armor in the customization UI, but I have no idea if it's a bug or in effect.

Steel is heavy and will deflect rounds possibly hitting explosives, civvies, or teammates. Ceramic is lighter and will lose integrity the more bullet it takes.
