2) I'm not a fanatic of weapons or gunplay in genral so maybe this is better if someone else answers you, for me certainly yes, or at least, among the best I've tried.
3) if you play with people surely yes, if you play in singleplayer you will probably get bored before, however the game set enemy AI spawns every time in a different way, I mean, for me that increases quite a bit the replayability of the same map. Then some of the maps have different modes (hostages, bombs to deactivate, suspected barricades etc).
of course, keep in mind that it is a game in EA, although for me it is already in a more than appreciable state some aspects of the game are still a bit immature. My advice is to try it for 2 hours and judge you, in my opinion it is a forced purchase but we are not all the same and on Steam you have the possibility to return if you do not find what you are looking for. ;) good luck!
The vanilla experience will be very rough around some edges, but the modding scene is great and improves the game in almost every aspect, including very nicely made custom maps.
This isn't like most FPS games that most of the replayability will come from unlocking new things or through PVP. While there are plans for a PVP, they've said they don't expect it to come this year, but instead something players can use to host small PVP matches such as the shoothouse in HQ.
If for you enjoyment means playing through maps to improve scoring, test new weapons, enjoy the randomization and variety maps and the AI have, and importantly playing with either friends or randoms, then I would say yes. If you're looking for a game you can grind out, then RoN isn't it at the moment.
1. Maps are very immerssive and story rich , not to mention the detail. Amazing.
2. Gunplay is solid, you can customize your guns for your playstyle, check mags, fast reload, recoil is a bit iffy but manageable if you don't use full auto.
3. There is a good amount of maps and more are on the way. Most maps have different gamemodes available like Bomb Threat, Barricaded suspects and Raid. Some gamemodes will change the map a bit from what I noticed. Some maps will block off certain part depending on the mode.
Not to mention mods, lots of maps to download and other gun mods , skin mods etc.
Pretty good for EA game.
not considering the price: it's absolutely fine with FRIENDS
otherwise, it'll be: hell.
I would rather pay for Son Of the Forest if I got the money
you would buy only if u want to support the dev
Tho I give 2 thumb up for the gun and also immsersive IF u dont mind AI gilde along the floor
The sound design is stellar.
Runs great.
However, bugs do occur and they can game break at times.
I would agree that $45 is steep for an EA title, though. Either wait until it comes out of EA or get it on sale.
This SOUNDS like a $20 experience based on reviews
- no content, no roadmap
- You NEED friends online to enjoy it properly
- I can buy some triple A titles for this price right now, or cheaper.
