Needs Optimisation! Runs horrible.
Warning to all thinking about buying this game: The game does not autodetect given Hardware and launches with maximum Graphic Settings. Which looks good, but results into horrible stutter.
Currently the settings need to be lowered as described here, but makes the game look pretty ugly:

My average Hardware: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and a Radeon RX 5500 XT. 32 GByte RAM with Windows 11 (DX11)

Warning in between both arguments. It does run very poorly on some maps, especially since the last big update. But it is still in development. In-game settings do little to improve FPS stability as it seems to be a caching/shader/optimization issue.

Warning 2 about that website guide. It is outdated (before the lighting update) and doesn`t include one of the most taxing and lag-inducing features: decals. Set that to off if you have issues.

Warning 3: I would give this a shot if you have a DLSS capable gpu: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/2140

Thanks for the tip. I turned World Decals off. Instead of 18 FPS as with the settings linked above, i have now a massive improvement and can play the game now with 22 FPS - no joke (Map: The cottage in top North)

Nice. Try the DLSS too if you have a capable card. You can get the 2.5.1 from here too: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

I dont have issues with it

Improvement: FSR was on Quality, now on Performance. Such gives me about 26 FPS and the game looks grizzly like this (Shaders may be semi-optimal):

Surprise! You just bought a game in Early Access!

But tbh i don't had any problems with any rig before. Maybe you just need a better PC?

Here the settings for the best Graphics allowing a just feasible gaming at 19 to 22 FPS on a Graphic Card below $1K:

Texture Quality - High
Shadow Quality - High
Post Processing Quality - Medium
Anti-Aliasing Quality - High
VFX Quality - Medium
View Distance - High
Frame Limit - ON - 60
Motion Blur - OFF
VSYNC - OFF
Flashlight Bounce Light - OFF
World Decals Enabled - OFF
OPTIWAND FPS Limit - ON - 60
OPTIWAND Resolution Scale - 100%
FSR Quality - Quality

Result is non-grizzly:

Warning... best graphic you see on current games.

Only shame is, that DEVs removed destructible assets like lights, mirrors...

Jesus, i remember time, when games pushed us buying new hardware... each year, or at least two.
Enigmatic Jan 10, 2023 @ 12:54am
I have it installed on a HDD.
I am using XFS file system.
Kernel 5.10 Devuan 4 OS.
On 10 year old hardware.
AMD 570 Pretty much every setting maxed out minus Resolution scale I leave at 100%
I get pretty steady 60 FPS and up. Only time maybe one map it loads when I first get in on one map for a second. But that is probably my HDD speed.

Your GPU is equivalent to a GTX 1660. Time for an upgrade.
Jack Jan 10, 2023 @ 2:33am
Your GPU is awfully old. That is where your bottleneck is. I wouldn't expect something that is the equivalent of a GTX 1660 to run well at all. I have a 1080ti and that is still running at 144fps on Epic settings at 2560x1080p Your GPU depending on the model you have is either a 4gb or 8gb of video memory. This game will happily eat up 10gb of video memory at higher texture resolutions. This GPU isn't going to run well at all. I suggest an upgrade to something with a bit more beef or play swat 4 that will run fine on this rig.

R5 2600x GTX 1660ti 16GB Ram Before Adam update everymap run smoothly since update came some old map run very horrible and new map hospital is playable with frustated about 40-50 fps or maybe less

There is a massive likelihood it will only get worse. If you're lucky there may be a huge optimisation pass before launch but since the textures are so high res i wouldn't expect it to get any better.
