Controller Support

Is there any support for controller expected? Sticks work but nothing else currently. Would really like to see it in the future!

Controller support is planned, but there is no eta like most things currently, you are able to play with a controller via Steam big picture currently

its really complicated, i suggest watching a youtube video to help actually understand how to use it properly, they also changed the non-big picture controller setup which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded

If that's the case, you should consider gyro controls. If you don't know who he is, there's a youtuber by the moniker of Nerrel that provides some good overviews of gyro controls that doesn't include the ridiculousness we grew accustomed to with the Wii.

I made a controller setup, that works well enough, for PS4 controllers. It's uploaded to the community. So should be available for others. I started with Steam controller config, trying to get my controller to work for Chicken little, but no luck there. I did however get some experience/knowledge about how to change A/X controller input to SPACE keyboard input. And it works.

X = Interact/Yell F (F as in f* I yelled at the floor/door again)
Square = Reload
O = Quick Throw
Triangle = Attachment

L1 = Lean Left
R1 = Lean Right

L2 = Aim/Right mouseclick
R2 = Fire/Left mouseclick

Dpad:
Left = Primary
Right = Secondary
Up = Long Tactical
Down = Grenade

Share = Fire Select
Options = Give orders (middle mouse button)

Left touchpad click = Command (Z)
Right touchpad click = Chemlight out!

L3 = Crouch
R3 = Melee

Right stick is set to 225%, might need some adjustment depending on personal preference, but with my settings the stick directional input is gradual, little movement is slow, and more is faster.

Left stick works as WASD, which is to say not gradual at all.

Not done right now, but I think that L2 full press could be assigned to LAlt, maybe.

*Edit: LAlt works as L2 full press, shame that Crouch is not toggable.

@BigbosS I don't remember what I called it, they, I made one then not being able to edit the one I made, I uploaded another. I think I maybe called them something along the line of.. no, I don't remember, I will have to look at it. Funny and ironic since I did spend time on making it work and be somewhat logical to use. But remembering the name? Brain fog!
