Does it have bullet penetration?

I might be the only one, but I think bullet penetration is very important in a shooter. Does it have bullet penetration? It's a dealbreaker for me.

Yes, yes it does. I accidentally shot a hostage that was behind a suspect the other day because of my AP rounds.

I can't give a definite answer, I think it depends? 7.62 probably works great atm, but I've seen mixed answers/tests in the past about penetration, might be map dependent like most things.

For now some things yes, most things not.

Bullets may go through glass (or not), will go through some cars but not others, will go through a thick concrete wall but not a ketchup bottle, etc.

Yes. You can shoot through doors and stuff, and they added ricochet.

Yes, I've accidentally shot civilians through drywall due to firing AP 7.62.

bullet will ricochet even glass and doing no damage unless ricochet to mr and miss unfortunate and the answer is bullet do go through wall and door but it might be random. require more test

From my experience, all the weapons in this game CAN penetrate, it just depends on what you are trying to shoot through (it also feels like AI are using different rules than players are, a lot of the time) and what you are shooting with. The real issue there, is an apparent lacking of material quality standardization between objects and across maps.

Penetration values are very clearly placeholder but mechanically the feature is included, it just needs refinement.

Bought the game and the bullet penetration is quite terrible and does not make sense. Some door has bullet penetration while another door of the same type has not. Will probably refund.

The game isn't done yet, and do you just not play most FPS games? Lots of games have God awful pen where only wooden walls work if you're lucky.

I know, that's why I doubt this is due to the game not being done yet and it just being overlooked like most games.

in short at the moment kind of, though slightly wonky depending on the gun and rounds. It was already confirmed to get an overhaul in the future.

The game also has mod support, several mod authors have tweaked penetration values.
