Terrible performance after update
The GPU usage is only around 50% with my 2070S running 2K, the framerate used to be rather stable before the update...any idea how to boost performance? The constant frame rate drop makes the game unplayable now.

Same here with 3090 Ti 1440P, 40-70% usage with terrible FPS.

Yeah, same here with 3080. Give this a try for a modest boost: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/mods/2140

go to windows "graphics settings", turn GPU acceleration on and select 'high performance' for the binary win64 executable of the game, found at:
..\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64

also, if you're using directx11, try 12 and vice versa

You are not alone with this issue, the performance is completely shot with the most recent update, especially with DX12. My FPS lowers drastically just opening the gun locker. I used to get well over 100 fps when playing, and it is no longer the case.

Ok good its not just me. My game is stuttering all over the place now since the update.

Overall fps hickups increased after the last patch for me too.

I had troubles running with DX11 and when i tried DX 12 it was a lot smoother and i noticed my GPU was running at a lower % compared to 100% on DX11.

Could be a be only me but worth trying out if you haven't yet.

Ok try these two things for a fix. I personally ran the high performance with DX11 as DX12 is still a bit jittery. Game running at 90 - 100 pretty much constantly.

The issue is not just from the last update. By relaunching the game with the Adam Update I realized that I had lost half of my performance on all maps.

I also have completely insane FPS falls on the Dealer map, when I enter the lobby with the aquarium.

I certainly do not have a configuration of first youth (i5 9600k & RTX 2080), but I still remember a game at 70 fps constant in 2560x1440 at its release last year. Today on Twisted Nerves I fall to 40 and 30 with JVN activated.

Of course I see that the maps are full of more and more details, but it is at the expense of the players.

I would like that in the future VOID never loses sight of this constraint, and that the performances become alpha and omega. A Shooter that is not fluid is his sure death.

Hmm that's weird, One thing that I discovered which helps performance is verifying game files and actually reinstalling the game. This would be due to void experimenting with RON. I found that RON was actually 96gb before reinstalling and after was only 36gb, which is a lot of temp files and etc. Also would Direct X is RON because DX12 has always been unstable. I run a 1660ti at a similar resolution and can pull 100 - 120 FPS with max graphic preset.
