It will take a lot of tinkering and trial and error to get it to your liking because you will need to map every command (at least the ones you want to use) because the game won't automatically recognize it. The good thing is you can do it all on the fly with the game running by just popping in and out without having to restart it but the customization is endless. For example I have the lean bined to the right bumper. Single press leans left, double press leans right. Holding down the D-pad up brings up squad commands, holding D-pad down brings up weapon select wheel. I really don't use the keyboard for anything. I just didn't map the helmet cams because I don't use it much. I forgot how I got the overlays, I had found a random walkthrough online somewhere that was written up for another game and applied it here but I will have to look for it.
It's not complicated but you will have to play with it to figure out how it works. I suck so bad at keyboard and mouse I had no choice but to figure it out if I wanted to play this game at all. Hope this is enough to get you started. I'm away from my PC for a few days, any other questions I'll try to answer.
You can youtube it. A guy showed the steps for an xbox controller. This should be similar for ps4 setup
