Where are the mod files
What folders do I go through to get to the mods from mod.io. I reinstalled the game and now all the mods I ever downloaded are on and I cant get rid of them. Currently not subscribed to any.

That would be step 2 below, unless you're on the test branch, then the mod.io folder was moved to the same drive as the game is installed

Originally posted by Ready or Not Troubleshooting Steps:
1) Verify the game files (right click on Steam > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity)
2) If you have any mods, remove them and verify the game files (delete the .pak folder if necessary)
a) Navigate to C:/Users/Public/mod.io/3791/mods and delete the folders there, then
b) Navigate to %localappdata% > ReadyorNot > Saved > Paks, delete the mods/folder, then
c) Navigate to steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks, delete the mods there. Be careful, as those are where the core game files are
[For Nexus or external mods (not Mod.io), you can just skip to part C)]

3) Update your drivers and windows (even to optional build, or even manual install)
4) Temporarily disable anti-viruses and test if issue persists
5) If all else fails, do a clean install below:
- Uninstall Ready or Not on Steam
- Navigate to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Delete "ReadyorNot"
- Navigate to %appdata% > local (%appdata% by default is roaming) > delete the "ReadyorNot" folder
- Reinstall Ready or Not

dont waste your time with modio. just use nexus and vortex, vortex installs everything for you, and saves you a headache.

I'm trying to not use any mods. I want them gone. I was unsubscribed and all was good but after uninstalling and reinstalling all the mods popped back without my doing anything and I can't get rid of them.

I tried to do step 2 and step 5. Some of those folders like %appdata% and %localappdata% I cannot find. I searched both my C and D drive for "ready or not" and deleted everything I found before reinstalling. I opened the PAKS folder and didn't see any mods but went ahead and deleted everything in there as well. I don't know what to do now.
Is there a way to disable all mods in game?

%appdata% is a hidden file on Windows, unless you specifically enabled a setting to see it, you won't find it. The way to access it is to type %localappdata% on the top bar of file explorer and it'll take you straight there

As for the main pak folder, those are the games critical files, most of the download. So you should verify the game files, it'll make you download them either way

I knew I had to redownload the PAk folder I was just hoping it would clear out the mods. I looked in game and saw there was a clear mod.io data option. Clicked it a few times but it did nothing.

SO you wanna find that %localappdata% folder. But because it is hidden you have to find it first.
I probably can't explain it all that well but you can type
"how to get to %appdata% folder windows"
and it will be the first result. You need to check a box to show hidden files and then you will see it where the google search tells you to look.
