How to increase the brightness?

I just played the map that looks like Fairfax residence from swat4.
I cant see anything even with the flashlight and the house has lights and lamps all over.

SWAT 4 had some dark maps like the basement parking lot but their flashlight was useful.

It seems the game company refuses to allow the community/consumer
to control brightness and gamma

I think the best way is get get IR laser and NVG goggles, that helped me a lot in dark maps, but yeah, I agree that it's a bit too dark for my taste and my monitor doesn't help either

Use mods: brighter flashlight, visible IR laser, shader mods etc.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card you can use the Nvidia Control Panel to adjust the brightness. The game can be way too dark and I am not wearing NVGs everywhere to "fix" it.

how long have you been playing? I wish they would notice the brightness problem and address it on the next update

Can you explain this more? I don't know what to do after I opened the nvdia panel
