Why can enemies track you through walls?

Peak corner, guy starts blasting. I kept running away for about 6 seconds with the shots hitting my armor over and over, I was only visible for about 1 second tops, yet he can flawless track me for another 5 until he kills me through walls.

How can this be a serious tactical shooter when the AI does stuff like that?

Which is what they do at the moment... for 5 seconds. The ai shooting atm is 1/2 shots on the first burst, then miss several before getting accurate again.

Doesn't matter if it provides them information on your location that they shouldn't have.

No idea why you're struggling so much to understand the situation.

You move when they are close to the wally, you shoot or have the flashlight on, they gonna know they are there.

You can't see through walls, chief. And you can't hear footsteps while guns are blasting and keep tracking them after they move out of your line of sight through a wall. Even if it's quiet you don't know perfectly where a sound on the other side is coming from and be able shoot it perfectly.

And A FLASHLIGHT DOESN'T MATTER IF NO ONE WAS USING ONE. IF THERE WAS NO FLASHLIGHT THERE IS NO LIGHT TO SEE.

How many times did your parents drop you on your head when you were a kid? I'm guessing at least 5, minimum. On concrete. Because in all honesty I am pretty sure I could explain this to a 6 year old and they'd be able to understand.

If you are firing, you can estimate easily where they are firing about. You are firing, giving yourself away and getting shot at by return fire. That is staying.

Hell, if you hide in a corner and don't move the ai will peak around the corner and even give you their back.

This is true, i wish they would patch in a hold laser or flashlight button so we can have light discipline, wont be used by many probably, but i like it more that way, other games that offered the option were used by me

Not meant as an attack. I have patiently and clearly tried to walk you through it but you just aren't getting it. There are some circumstances where shooting through the wall is fine, and there are others where it's not. That's all there is to it.

Before this deteriorates further we should just stop interacting. Sorry we didn't link up properly.

Ah yes, enemies blindly firing through walls with 100% accuracy.
Its what made me return my copy of the game
I'd buy it again once it is patched out, but I had other things during the steam summer sale 2022 that I wanted to get.

Or enemies suddenly detecting me, even if I am crouched and no where near windows or doors... or in a place that wouldnt be visible, especially at NIGHT when there are no lights outside... game has a lot of potential, just needs some better AI
