Oh my gosh, for real?
I can be patient for updates, and yeah I saw a lot of people complaining about it? I don't really get it.
BUT heat throttling is a ever present issue that I have to be mindful of with any game or program. If I don't make an active effort to keep the system cool performance tanks.
Ready or Not is unusually good at heating up my system regardless of settings. So I just keep it on epic and do all the heat mitigation steps I normally do with demanding games.
That being said, my pc is not much better than your laptop and it runs smooth mostly.
Well I can understand how that is annoying, an odd system that I haven't seen before.
Nothing has changed or was hidden.
I have a similar build but not as good with an i7-8700 and a GTX 1060. My monitor is capped as 75hz and most of the time on lower-medium settings I stay above 60 frames. I highly recommend turning down your shadows and disable mirror reflections to get a frame boost.
The game does still require a bit more optimisation however. Even on low settings I sometimes dip down to 50-40 and even 30 frames on some occasions. If you do experience bad frame drops it might be cause of the game and not your system.
