I think my breaking point was having 3 teammates in the same room with a suspect who had "surrendered". I go to cuff him and he stabs me in the face.
Also, a lot of the bad guys are crackheads or junkies, but they seem to have world class marksmanship skills with a pistol.
Only if the host has serverside checksum disabled
And it's hard because many systems not working properly right now not because the gameplay is that complicated or difficult. i get what you are talking about...
June update is definitely the worst one so far imo. Feels like a step backwards and not forward.
just make a break - play something else until we wait for next update otherwise you will be burned out of frustration ...
TBH I don't think the AI is that OP like people are describing.
I have completed meth house multiple times, club map 3 times and bris cova 2 times.
But i have to say that the Agent AI in the Valley of dolls are by far the hardest ones yet. I haven't completed that map and obviouse one shot through walls are so common in that map.
I think they need to just fix the AI shooting through walls and stuff but keep this difficulty or have a option to select difficulty
The AI indeed have better accuracy and reaction time (which just requires a simple fix) but the current community sucks playing RON too.
Shotgun/battering ram everywhere at any door
No callouts for whats the next action or proceeding.
Not enough patience to mirror under the doors or peek in the doors.
Scores below C, Kill on sight, report later, etc, etc.
It's great to see the new features and the AI definitely feels smarter, but it also seems more like a terrorist hunt with civilians sprinkled inbetween rather than a successor to SWAT 4.
Also the fake death stuff is kind of odd, it's a nice concept but it often doesn't make sense.
You can onetap a suspect in his vest and he'll drop like a sack of potatoes, you cuff him on the ground and he turns out to be dead.
Then you burstfire a suspect into definite death and he casually gets up on his knees and pulls another weapon seemingly unharmed.
A suspect who took some rounds should at least be slightly panting, gargling or groaning.
Maybe an option to check pulse as a quicker alternative to having to cuff every downed suspect while still clearing areas could make this less of an issue.
(Come to think of it; does doubletapping them work and if yes then does it deduct points at all?)
I was also hyped to see clever usage of cover introduced to the AI, but i've seen so many of them snipe me through little gaps i can barely see them from (while strafe running and accurately firing inbetween to make it even harder to accurately return fire).
Install this mod if you'd like to have the difficulty toned back down to something a bit more similar to what we had in the previous version of the game.
Doesn't help that they do not react to getting hit whatsoever, no flinch, no decrease in accuracy, they just return pinpoint accurate fire.
I personally prefer to use semi auto and preserve my rounds in tactical shooters like this, having to go full auto on a suspect just because you know he'll not be bothered in the slightest until you reach his sometimes 5+ required rounds to the chest/face is a bit of a flow breaker.
