They nerf players weapons, also the bullet types is the same old version, not change anything
It is in 7.62x51 Nato aka .308 Win, they are almost the same, except some small changes.
All other rifles are in 5.56x41 aka .223 Rem.
- The Ammo types are nothing change, they are the same old ammo version.
- The Armor types are also nothing, it's just there.
- AI back to old version and got buff stats like MMO game (Never bleed, dmg reduction, fast reload, accurate boost, fast boost, dmg boost penetration, vision boost, never need NVG or lights to see in the dark). Also they can back from died because the new features (50%).
- AI team become more stupid and blind because only follow the scripts setup. Those scripts are old so AI team didn't understand. AI team scripts are like "A is here and B is here but in the zone yet ? If yes then do the animations. Not even care if they already in cover or suddenly AI enemy open). Devs need to play Breach&Clear to understand how to "clear a room".
- Weapons Equipment mess up. The Rescue Shield and Yellow Shotgun are for Supporter Edition but still show up but can't use. Be caution.
- The M32 Launcher will and can only shoot 6 rounds inside the gun even you got another 6 rounds.
- They remove some weapon and debuff weapons for players, make those stats not even feel realistic like they are. (More recoil, Fire Rate debuff, dmg reduce, penetration from 3->1)
- Attachments stats are nothing, not work.
- Scopes zoom is not even work or feel right. It's look exactly x1 scope rather than x4.
- Lights and Mirrors aren't optimize, distants LOD setting still broken, can't see sht from 100m, popup things, physics are all messing up like Chairs- Table- Objects that can able moveable when walk through (Some will stuck on you or make AI team dumb). Also Lights are still broken (Lights can only see and popup when come close)
- Stop the voice lines when pop light stick for AI team, it's become non-sense. Nobody order them to pop a light stick in middle gun fight. Stop that. (Yes sir, poping light stick. Roger, pop light stick your order, bruh)
.308 tends to have more powder/pressure than 7.62x51. You can always use 7.62x51 in a .308 rifle it is not true the other way around. 7.62X51 is a NATO standardised cartridge meaning all (other than weird rare speciality ammo) 7.62x51 rounds will function in any 7.62x51 platform m14 (american) g3 (german), ect, ect.
The opposite is with .223. 5.56x51 rifles can use .223, .223 rifles cannot use 5.56x51.
Its actually the other way around. Confusing though it is. While marked 7.62x51* the SA58 can use .308 (it is rated for the pressure). I believe it is marked that for export so NATO/Military users will know what ammo to use.
The history and reason why this is: NATO (now the entire west really) adopts standardised cartridges for small arms. Those cartridges have to be the same size and have maximum and minimal pressures so these cartridges function across all weapons so all nato (western) countrys can share ammo without weapons failing or exploding ect. Police departments of those nations tend to adopt the same ammo as military (swat).
Where it gets tricky is a lot of these nato/standized ammo comes from hunting/sporting cartridges which are modified and created (basically to avoid legal trouble) hence you get two bullets are are almost identical yet different enough that mixing them up can be a bad day.
You also have sporting/hunting cartridges that are copys of NATO/Military bullets.
Long story short, Nato copied the .308 turned it in 7.62x51. FN FAL (SA58) made there barrels and actions strong enough to support .308 but mark the guns 7.62x51 to meet the standardisation of NATO countries. So you can use .308 in an FN FAL SA58 but if you put .308 into another 7.62x51 marked gun it might explode
