The game won't be in sale
Knowing that for example the AI is not yet able to correctly use the ballistic shield.
And level ergonomics we are clearly not at the level of SWAT4. It is still too complicated and long to give simple or complex orders. For example, to order the cleanliness of a room with two entrances via gate openings synchronized too difficult to do for a game of this kind.
For the moment all the interest of the game is in its cooperation multiplayer dimension. Try and die. After that will also depend on how you play.
If you’re the kind of guy who just cleans up as fast as you can, looks for muscle commitments, you’ll be right around the corner. On the other hand, if you like the atmosphere and are looking to make clean entries with a maximum of arrest and a minimum of commitment, the game will have a lot to offer you. If only because AI is very aggressive and will soon make you pay for every mistake.
Now I’m gonna be honest with you, the bulk of the community you find in matchmaking is playing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mode and shooting anything that moves.
A. During the Early Access period, the game is on sale. Upon release the game will raise to 60$
Bottom line, if you enjoy singleplayer games and tactical shooters you will LOVE RON(expect occasional bugs) after a while the game might bore you a little without a couple of buddies to rely on. (CO OP is an option)
I played swat 3 and 4 a lot with those DLCs
Standard Edition is paying for basic play testing and some levels of entertainment
Supporter Edition is paying for direct communication with VOID in NDA Discord, chance to playtest upcoming updates and content packs, and some cosmetics.
TLDR; Only buy if you're willing to follow the games progression and support the devs, in exchange for varying levels of entertainment
I disagree, although I only play SWAT4 without mods.
SWAT4 is a refined game while RoN isn't.
The suspect in SWAT 4 can see flash light from players. Will aim at hostage and kill them if you alert the suspect.
RoE is set and will not be changed.
RoN suspect have no response on flash light and lazer.
Lighting is weird.
Suspect have no interaction with hostage
RoE and AI behavior still changing between updates
Guns and walls penetration need to be adjusted
Guns, bullets damage, Armour, suspect health need to be adjusted
Without Story line at the moment
I don't own supporter edition, but those function haven't implemented to the game or just added to the game and need to be refined.
Although RoN is not completed, doesn't mean playing RoN has less joy.
maps are limited atm but if ur focus is more on exp, action and refining ur own game / skills then maybe its worth it
for me it certainly worths the money but i only do coop
Agree, SWAT 4 more immersive. Including the story, map layout, situation.
