Is there a way to deactivate AI teammates?

I'm looking for a challenge by trying to do missions all by myself without any teammate following and helping me but I can't find any setting to disable the teammates AI. If there's a way to do so and I've just been too blind to find it, I'd like to know.

Not that I know of. I don't believe there is... But you can tell them "move to" at the start of a mission so they stay there and don't follow you.

There is not, but as James said you can just have them stay at the start point and they won't follow you in.
