Also the enemies just sprinting is ridiculous not to mention they tank 3 rounds of 5.56 but can 1 shot me and my team in full armor with face shields and they're only armed with a 9mm?
This guy's stuck in a room with 4 heavily armoured SWAT training their guns on him, yelling at him to get down and he just runs round and round refusing to comply. I whacked him like 8 times with my rifle before he finally got down -_-
It also doesn't make sense how an unarmed civ can refuse to comply for me and 2 AI cops, then run down a hall and straight past my other 2 AI buddies who just stand there and cant/wont do anything to stop him/her. Surely once they've so obviously failed to comply, the other AI should automatically tackle or taser/pepper spray them if they happen to be fleeing straight past them.
People act not much less stupid in reality. Just watch a few videos from the "Police Activity" channel on Youtube. :)
I agree though, civilians shouldn't flee. If they don't want to comply, ok fine, but if they want to run away while bad guys are shooting at them... it doesn't make much sense.
Furthermore, I think it becomes a bit more complicated as there are suspects that appear as unarmed civilians.
This on farm drives me crazy, I have a guy in BDUs and a plate carrier running through the yard and I shoot him, I report it and its "civilian killed" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, hes dressed like one and is acting potentially threatening I'm gonna shoot.
I was responding to OP stating he didn't understand why civs would act like this or the logic behind not complying with a room full of Officers having guns drawn on them to say it happens more than you would think. There's no "argument" as you say. The game is Early Access and has alot to iron out.
Ok.
Yea it sucks. As I said to OP, tasing all runners or those who don't comply seems to be the best work around for now. No penalty and they end up complying 100%. The game frowns on shooting unarmed civs in the back. Hopefully they add the ability for your AI teammates to snatch them up instead of staring at them running around in circles.
