The AI is Annoying
The AI is really the only thing I don't understand, voice lines don't make sense, civilians ignoring commands to sprint across the map, and even if they don't sprint across the map, I'm tired of standing waiting for them to put there hands up surround by a full SWAT team. The enemy AI moves way to fast and aimbots through the wall a tad much. In a game that is all about target acquisition, the AI are too random and unfinished it seems. Great game mechanically, and a really good thought. I also think 5 character models, and only 10 voice lines to match is really lacking anyhow. I keep wanting to play this game, than I get 2 missions in and I am tired of the civilians, I swear to god half the time I'm playing I'm chasing random white girls around yelling at them, as they open every door in the house forcing all the enemies to run out gunzablazing.

Yea I agree with this wholeheartedly, the civilian AI needs to chill the ♥♥♥♥ out and just comply, it makes it especially frustrating that you can't force them to the ground if your close to them, you HAVE to wait for them to put their hands up.

Also the enemies just sprinting is ridiculous not to mention they tank 3 rounds of 5.56 but can 1 shot me and my team in full armor with face shields and they're only armed with a 9mm?

Agreed. I understand the realism in AI civ's occasionally fleeing either in panic or to warn armed 'friends' , but today playing solo I did a double breach on both ends of a bathroom; 1 hostile inside dropped his gun, but then just proceeded to sprint round the room in circles.

This guy's stuck in a room with 4 heavily armoured SWAT training their guns on him, yelling at him to get down and he just runs round and round refusing to comply. I whacked him like 8 times with my rifle before he finally got down -_-

It also doesn't make sense how an unarmed civ can refuse to comply for me and 2 AI cops, then run down a hall and straight past my other 2 AI buddies who just stand there and cant/wont do anything to stop him/her. Surely once they've so obviously failed to comply, the other AI should automatically tackle or taser/pepper spray them if they happen to be fleeing straight past them.

People act not much less stupid in reality. Just watch a few videos from the "Police Activity" channel on Youtube. :)

The next update is going to lower civilian morale by half, so that should help.

I agree though, civilians shouldn't flee. If they don't want to comply, ok fine, but if they want to run away while bad guys are shooting at them... it doesn't make much sense.

Furthermore, I think it becomes a bit more complicated as there are suspects that appear as unarmed civilians.

This on farm drives me crazy, I have a guy in BDUs and a plate carrier running through the yard and I shoot him, I report it and its "civilian killed" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, hes dressed like one and is acting potentially threatening I'm gonna shoot.

The AI are in desperate need of a rework suspect and civilian both

That's why I shoot all civilians on sight

Coming from 12yrs LE experience I can testify to the fact that supposed "victims" don't always comply and are sometimes worse than the actual suspects. This can be for a variety of reasons from just not liking or trusting the police, panic, have warrants, mental case, not wanting to be a witness etc. In real life when your not sure who's the victim or the suspect at a serious scene unfortunately the actual victims can end up being detained for a period of time and understandably people don't like that if they called you for help. In the games current state and until you or the AI teammates can put hands on them, I found tasing the ones who flee always works.

Cool, this isn't real life and the majority of people (all civs act like this in this game, 0 variance, everyone is a chad) do not act as you said.

Bad argument.

I was responding to OP stating he didn't understand why civs would act like this or the logic behind not complying with a room full of Officers having guns drawn on them to say it happens more than you would think. There's no "argument" as you say. The game is Early Access and has alot to iron out.

But OP is complaining in a video game that it makes no sense.

It's not IRL.

Ok.

I see what you meant by people just don't like the police lol. In all seriousness I agree with you on most of what you said. And it doesn't matter if its a game or not, they market it as a realistic swat tactics game then they should try to apply that within reason. For me I get annoyed at them not complying. My score gets screwed for me with the civs because in the military I was taught to protect my team first, so I end up shooting the civs when they turn or run off of instinct, my score gets real low lmao.

Yea it sucks. As I said to OP, tasing all runners or those who don't comply seems to be the best work around for now. No penalty and they end up complying 100%. The game frowns on shooting unarmed civs in the back. Hopefully they add the ability for your AI teammates to snatch them up instead of staring at them running around in circles.

yes the civillian AI is so bad, on active shooter map when i come to the room and yell hands up they just run to the dining room to get shot by the shooter. like why ? why would you run away from the swat team to get killed
