It does in my opinion. But the overall concept of putting that on your back in unrealistic as hell, so I am hoping they'll get rid of the idea
I see what you mean, it does present a gameplay/mechanic issue. Do you get the ability to place it to use your primary or other attachments? Do you sacrifice your primary and attachments? Etc. I'd say the place one is the best option, but they'd have to edit the model to show how it'd be propped up.
Otherwise it's really just nerfing the shield, it's not a god tier item, there are plenty of suspect weapons that can break yo knees and pen the shield (apparently). I'd love to see it rebalanced as I love being the shield guy, having the glass shot really does suck though
