There is a big misunderstanding here. Only MS studio games and a maybe a few other titles will stay on gamepass permanently. I have no problem buying a game, I bought a lot of games before and AFTER it ended up on gamepass. The bottom line is that I just want to play this game on XBOX and not pc. Gamepass is just a way to expose the game to more players so I can play with more people, and maybe play it for a while to try it out.
on someone else's dime? lol wtf I pay for gamepass. Devs who put their games on gamepass are paid out from subscribers like me. A lot of your PC guys used to brag how you can get the entire gamepass catalog for cheaper than you would subscribing to the service, and now you're saying this??? which is it bruh?
Don't compare xbox to playstation and nintendo. Very different gaming philosophies you can't lump all consoles together. Xbox has always been a more mature and power focused gaming machine that mirrored the PC market. It's home to a lot of FPS, strategy and mmo games that you just wouldn't see on the other consoles historically. Remember PC guys begging for MS to put HALO on pc for many years. Halo didn't need PC to be successful and still doesn't. and if it weren't for steam, PC gaming would be dead because a lot of players pirated their games. Now they just wait for a big steam sale, but at least studios can make money now on pc.

And what are you saying? You do know that 2042 is flopping to hell right? That is a very low player count for 2042. Again I'm not sure what you're saying here though, and confused why you're using 2042 as an example, lol that game is being condemned worldwide right now and completely DOA.
this is true that's why i also said somewhat, however still since the concept of consoles simulations where never really a serious target for it's market, there have been exceptions which tried hard to divulge from the status quo, such as one of my fav developers which has recently made a resurgence Microprose, this is just my opinion but maybe it's about time that consoles were developed differently so they were not just about their gfx/video potential but also the processor, and maybe also if they had inbuilt keyboard designs as part of the original system, that way more players would take them more seriously for sim gaming......but i hear you
really? you're pointing to the introductory 1 month $1 offer? I've had gamepass now for 3 years my dude. There are 30 MILLION subscribers as of the last report I checked, maybe more now, run some math on that. The devs are paid in full, they do not put their games on the service out of the kindness of their hearts. Even the game development costs in some cases are fronted by MS in return for a day one launch, while they're still allowed to sell the game on other platforms. Some devs are literally surviving off the revenue stream from gamepass, because otherwise they wouldn't sell enough copies on their own. It's also an opportunity for devs to reach more players with DLC and mtx. You just have no idea at all what you're talking about.
Translation: "I want to play this game, but I don't want to pay for it."
yeah you're right i want to play this game for free on gamepass, and i don't want to pay for it. Really hope it goes to gamepass soon lol
Some truth at last. Well done.
