Suggestion: Inertia
After the recent wipe/patch on Escape From Tarkov, they added inertia (which affects movement based on weight/gear). It would allow the ability to sprint, however, it would make stopping to fire more difficult. It would affect what gear you'd bring in, and it would give the civilians/criminals a more realistic movement style. Instead of being like the flash while having the accuracy of John Wick, the running bad guys would be a tad bit slower and far less accurate. Same goes for the civvies who run, though I believe them running when 2+ officers are yelling and point guns at them, they'd still be no where as fast. If you do not know what I am talking about here is a video providing examples of inertia:

Here it is in another game:

Almost every game that uses this feels floaty and artificial.

They just need to lower the accuracy and (much more slightly) reaction of the suspects, which was done by one of the mods already, to a great success. So no, no inertia needed.

While I am not against it its a slippery slope where you can easily ruin a core aspect of the game.

Also there is no pvp so the main reason tarkov introduced it isnt here.
