Low spec machine friendly?
Currently running on a laptop and wont be on my desktop for a few weeks but im interested in this game.

My laptop specs are an
i5 @ 2.50GHz
16gb of ram
2 gb Nvidia Geforce 940mx

typically play at 1080 60 if I can reach it.

Think I can run it rn or should I wait till im back on my main PC?

no ♥♥♥♥. I wanted an opinion from people that actually play the game and have similar hardware.

So what do you expect?
You barely make the minimum requirements so yes you can run it but no it won't be pretty or smooth.

Many games are more optimised then their requirements lead on.

unless you have a similar spec machine or experience testing game hardware, move on. this thread isn't for you. blocked.

RAM is ok, and I'm running it pretty good at 1050TI. Dunno about your CPU though.
ashencowl Dec 27, 2021 @ 12:38am
Yeah RAM is good enough but most likely the CPU or the 2gb GPU memory will hold you down especially on 1080

It runs alright on lower specs but high object count on your screen might drop some fps... besides that, the glass shaders are bugged and the devs are aware/will fix those in an upcoming patch. The game is decently optimized though for an early access release.

according to your specs you are below the minimum requirements.
hell heck even the minimum requirements listed on the store page i think personaly are way to low estimated.

iam on a i 7-7700k with 32gb of ram ssd and a RTX 2080 @1080p and in a 5 man squad in multiplayer iam scraping at 60 fps sometimes lower than that depending on the level.

so based from my experience i would say no you will not to be able to run the game in a way it would be fun to play.

also i realized turning down graphics quality is a bad idea specialy for shadows as dark areas will get even darker

I sometimes play on my laptop, which has a GTX1650 4GB and a Ryzen 4600H. Generally at 1080p/High im hitting 50-60fps. Your 940MX is anywhere from 3 to 4x slower. Can't really say much on your laptops i5 without a model no.

IMO just get it, try it. You'll know if its worth refunding after 2 hours easily.
