Well of course it matters, do you understand a difference between SSD, HDD and NVME? Should probably google it if you have to ask.
Do you understand computer hardware vs software? Some games run heavy on CPU, RAM, others on GPU or SSD, but those games are typically open world/sandbox games because there's an absurd amount of pocket space to load/fps.
If this game's optimized and doesn't have miles of information to load on screen an HDD should be fine. Doesn't make a lot of sense to drive a race car when you can only go 30MPH.
SSD/NVME doesn't always matter, but that's info you can find on google too.
