VOIP just wont work...

It works in Discord. It works in the Windows settings. It works in basically every single voice record option I have on my PC, but the in-game VOIP just won't work. I can hear my team. I can hear and talk in Discord, but the in-game VOIP is just completely dead. No matter what team channel I choose. Bug? Or am I missing something? And yes. I've tried a couple of hotkey settings. It just won't work in-game...

If am not mistaken, it's proximity chat, meaning they hear you and you hear them when close by.

make sure in windows your mic is set as default device and there is no 2nd device set as communication device

Yeah, I tried all of the channels. Local and team-based... I'm at a loss...

im just glad im not the only one for some reason i have that issue and my under barrel attachments wont work in mission even tho its equiped.

I got it working now. I had a 3rd party sound editing software running in the background which ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. Sorry. Uninstalled it and now it works fine. It hijacked my mic for some reason.

The underbarrel thing is a bug though. It's been mentioned previously.

1 Access Sound Settings:

2 Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner) and select "Open Sound settings."
Choose Sound Control Panel:

3 Inside the Sound settings, click on "Sound Control Panel" on the right-hand side. It will open the older-style Sound window.
Disable Unwanted Playback Devices:

4 In the Sound window, navigate to the "Playback" tab.
Right-click on each audio device that you want to disable except your headphones.
Select "Disable" from the context menu. This action will prevent these devices from playing sound.
Set Default Device (if needed):

5 Right-click on your headphones or desired playback device.
Click "Set as Default Device" to ensure that Windows routes audio to your preferred headphones.
Apply and Confirm Changes:

6 Click "Apply" and then "OK" to confirm the changes.
Testing:

Test your headphones by playing some audio to ensure they are working correctly and that the other devices are disabled.

this was the only way i could get it to work. Just setting the Headphones I was using was not enough for the game to accept it for some reason. Assuming it has to do with sound board high jacking the priority privilege.
