There are tons of people who want PVP.
SWAT, tactical shooter with good, realistic, slow paced gameplay is what everyone is itching for, but nobody has yet delivered.

If its PVP is going to be as bad as we have seen, you don't need to worry about the "wrong light on the game" though lol. Only the "pure blooded, SWAT veterans (boomers) will get to experience it.

I get it. I wish there was more than 3 choices for realistic tactical pvp shooter that had 10,000 players at any time but it's a niche market. Gotta get realistic. If you want to play anything besides Squad, Arma3 and all that, then you are gonna have to find those small clans and fan groups that get together an play. Use discord or whatever. You won't find many tactical realistic shooters were you can just join a match like its COD. A lot of these realistic tactical shooters that people call 'dead' are actually still supported by devs and groups of people that play them. It's just not realistic to expect 10,000 players at any given time. You gotta coordinate with strangers for play dates. Cause it's a niche market.

But realistically tactical singleplayer/coop is not easy to find and they are hard to make. It doesn't matter anyways. This game will not focus on pvp only. They said on one of their newsletters that pvp focus is not the case.

All I want, is a PVP mode where players get to replace the enemy NPCs inside the building SWAT siege. I really don't get all the controversy, all the strawman goofy ass arguments people make against PVP, and etc. And they are going to add PVP, regardless whether it is focused on or not. It is set in stone. I can tell you same thing and you can get over it.

What do people think when someone says "PVP"? That it means there will be ranked ladder, skins, and esports tournaments? That a game is supposed to turn every weapon into the same one, for balance purposes?

They can re-use same maps, same tools, weapons, assets, etc. It only needs non fail networking, to be a good and useful addition to this game, as another mode to play. That will also satisfy a ♥♥♥♥ load of people, and add another big fat reason for people to buy this.

I can totally agree that pvp is a great addition. But it's not gonna put this game on Steam's top 100 (Maybe day 1 but not long after.) And I understand the fear over pvp focus. I'm a big fan of realistic tactical shooters. Pvp or not. I follow it all. actually i would love a GOOD(*) slow paced tactical shooter because i was soo disappointed by siege
i dont like overwatch valorant and all that colorfull stuff, i dont like BIG teams like in squad or arma and i dont like BR

I’m excited about all the awesome realistic features in EFT except the game mode itself. So I’m gonna wait until they finish the game and see.
