I'm sorry, but SWAT 4 was total garbage. The animations were goofy (like running like stiff jumping idiots), the voice of all guys were like "Hollywood Cool-man-A-Team-movie modern bs"..... which sucked out all the professionalism & seriousness the game was about, then the horrible gun sounds which were absolutely ugly, the ugliest I had ever experienced in a shooter. I've been there since Police Quest. SWAT 3 was so much better, even SWAT 2 was more interesting than SWAT 4.
SWAT 4 is a cursed game. It's only really remembered for pepper spraying an old fat granny. Ken Levine was part of the production team after all, and it's a good thing we never got SWAT 5 to begin with since he wanted to make it into a zombie shooter.

SWAT 3 was more of a training sim, and thus professional. They really hit that ceiling back in 1999.
