WTF is up with all the desyncs. Multiplayer is practically unplayable...
I took a year off of playing this game and have finally been getting back to playing it and now the game just desyncs every 5 turns or so and once it does the entire save is now unplayable. I have a whopping 2 mods and everyone has gigabit internet, there is no reason the game should be bricking like this. (It does so even without the mods)

Anyone have any ways around this?

Same here, don't know why its happpening, or if CA is working on it currently, I hope we get an answer soon. Fastest desync I had with a friend was on turn 1 when trying to fight the first army near your lord. All without mods too, I hope this gets a fix.

After a couple of days shopping around the community bugfix mod by groove wizard completely solved me and my friends desync issues, it is utterly embarrassing that the community has a fix already and CA doesnt but if anyone else has this issue the mod fixes it.

Same issue here, considering reverting back to WHII just to be able to play the game again, highly disappointed considering how much we both played for this new game.

Turn 1 desync is guaranteed, each and every game, triggered by the first fight, but the main issue, is the fact we cannot load up a save game without it crashing, each and every game of ours is unplayable, and its extremely frustrating.

Im going to try that bugfix mod that Theron spoke of, ill let you know if it works or not.

the mod didnt work, save game still crashes for us as soon as my friend hits 100% loaded.

it wont fix existing saves but it fixed all desyncs on campaigns started afterwards
additionally the mod updates frequently so if it desyncs with the mod one of you prolly just has has an out of date mod which a file verification will solve
